Review any proposals
Any proposals received appear in your Client Portal, with the details each responding broker supplies. Compare the proposed aircraft or capacity, itinerary, scope, pricing and key terms, then use the messaging tools to clear up anything a proposal leaves open.
Select and finalize
Once you select a proposal, that broker identifies the contracting parties and coordinates the remaining confirmations with the proposed operator and any other providers, within the service scope documented for the mission.

How the IONA JETS platform works for private aviation, group charter and air cargo.
IONA JETS is a Swiss digital referral platform. You submit one request with your route, dates and requirements, and it is shared with the vetted broker partners taking part across private aviation, group charter and air cargo. Any proposals received appear in your Client Portal, where you can compare options side by side, message brokers directly and select the one that best fits your needs. Your contact details remain confidential until you select a proposal or otherwise choose to share them. Registration is free, submitting a request commits you to nothing, and the standard referral service carries no platform fee for clients.
- Private aviation: Business jets for corporate travel, leisure flights, medical transport, helicopter transfers, air taxis and empty leg opportunities when they arise, subject to aircraft, operator, route and service availability. Responding brokers may source suitable aircraft and operator options across several categories. Depending on the request, a proposal may also set out alternative airports, cabin capacity, baggage limits and optional ground connections for comparison. Once you select a proposal, that broker confirms availability, operational details and final suitability with the proposed operator.
- Group and airline charter: Group flights for corporate events, MICE programs, sports teams, diplomatic missions, music tours and airline sub-charter, generally for groups of 20 passengers or more. Subject to availability and confirmation, the broker you select may coordinate passenger manifests, dedicated check-in, priority processing, cabin personalization, catering and ground logistics with operators and local providers. Aircraft type, capacity and airport arrangements depend on the mission, on operator confirmation and on the approvals required.
- Air cargo: General freight, urgent AOG shipments, pharmaceutical products, dangerous goods, perishables, heavy or outsize cargo, humanitarian aid and live animals, subject to cargo acceptance and to the operational and regulatory requirements that apply. Within the agreed scope, the selected broker may coordinate ground handling, customs support, regulatory formalities and shipment monitoring through the operator and contracted providers. Each provider is responsible for the services it performs, while cargo acceptance, loading and flight operations stay with the operator and the handling parties involved.

The air charter market is complex and fragmented. Finding the right broker, understanding pricing and comparing options takes industry knowledge that most clients have no reason to acquire. IONA JETS was created to simplify that process. Founded in Geneva by an aviation professional, the platform works with an established international network of brokerage firms, each one reviewed and verified before joining. Brokers taking part may then prepare proposals, and the one you select coordinates the arrangements with the proposed operator and the providers involved.
- Confidential until you decide: The Platform is designed to withhold your identity and contact details from Broker Partners until you select a proposal or choose to share them. Your data may still be processed by IONA JETS, by its contracted infrastructure and support providers and by the other recipients described in the Privacy Policy. Access controls reduce risk but cannot guarantee secrecy or rule out unauthorized access, disclosure or human error. Review your access permissions and share only the information your request or account management actually needs.
- No platform fees for clients: IONA JETS charges clients nothing to submit a request, review proposals, compare brokers or select an offer through the standard referral service. The platform is paid by broker partners when a referred request results in a confirmed booking. Your financial and contractual relationship is with the party or parties identified in the booking documentation, which may include the selected broker, the aircraft operator or both. The separate IONA JETS Business subscription remains subject to its own pricing and subscription terms.
- Safety and compliance: IONA JETS reviews and verifies Broker Partners before they join the network. For each mission, the broker you select sources the proposed operator and carries out its own due diligence. Those checks may cover the operating certificate or equivalent authorization, insurance, crew qualifications, maintenance information, approvals and mission requirements. Programs such as IS-BAO, Wyvern Wingman and ARGUS may add further information on business aviation operators, while IOSA may be relevant to airlines. Private jet charter pricing depends primarily on five variables: aircraft category, route distance, passenger count, positioning sectors and seasonal demand. A light jet on a short European route may cost a few thousand euros, while an ultra-long-range aircraft on an intercontinental route can run into six figures. Any proposals you receive can be compared in your Client Portal, using the pricing information each broker supplies. IONA JETS charges no client platform fee for the standard referral service. The platform covers three segments: private aviation, including business jets, leisure flights, medical evacuations, helicopters, air taxis and empty leg opportunities; group and airline charter, including ACMI sub-charter, MICE and corporate events, sports teams, diplomatic missions and music tours; and air cargo, including standard freight, urgent AOG shipments, pharmaceutical cold chain, dangerous goods, heavy lift and humanitarian aid. Neither. IONA JETS is a Swiss digital referral platform. We do not operate aircraft, hold an Air Operator Certificate or negotiate flight contracts. Once a request is submitted, vetted Broker Partners may source aircraft and prepare proposals. Their participation is not guaranteed, and neither is the receipt, number, timing, content or terms of any proposal. If you select one, that broker contacts you to finalize the contract, payment and arrangements. The contracting party is identified in the booking documentation. The result is access to proposals from the brokers taking part, with visibility into each step. Response times vary and are not guaranteed. They depend on broker participation, route complexity, aircraft or capacity requirements, passenger or cargo specifications, operator availability and any special logistics, permits or approvals involved. Straightforward requests may receive an initial proposal sooner than complex cargo operations, multi-leg group itineraries or short-notice missions. Before finalizing a proposal, a broker must confirm the operator, aircraft, pricing and operating conditions.
IONA JETS acts solely as a Swiss digital referral platform connecting clients with independent air charter brokers across private aviation, group and airline charter, and air cargo. IONA JETS is not an air charter broker, air carrier, airline, aircraft operator, freight forwarder, customs broker or ground-handling provider, does not hold an Air Operator Certificate and does not operate flights, transport cargo, perform handling or provide customs clearance. IONA JETS reviews and verifies broker partners before they join its network, but does not directly source, select or verify individual aircraft operators or downstream providers. The selected broker remains responsible for sourcing the proposed operator, conducting the relevant operator due diligence and coordinating the services included within the agreed scope. The descriptions on this website are general and do not guarantee that any aircraft, capacity, proposal, route, schedule, service, configuration, airport facility, authorization or other feature will be available for a specific request. All services remain subject to broker participation, operator and provider availability, operational feasibility, passenger or cargo acceptance where applicable, airport constraints, permits, applicable regulations and confirmation during the booking process. Transport-related obligations and liabilities rest with the contractual party or parties identified in the booking documentation, which may include the selected broker, aircraft operator or another identified provider. IONA JETS is not a party to the flight or transport contract unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. The IONA JETS Business subscription provides team-management, billing-consolidation and workspace tools. It does not alter the contractual relationship for any individual flight. IONA JETS Business is intended exclusively for professional and business users and is not intended for consumers acting outside a commercial, industrial, craft or professional activity. Payment processing for the IONA JETS Business subscription is provided by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd under its own terms and privacy policy. IONA JETS does not store complete payment-card details on its own infrastructure. (1) IONA JETS is remunerated by broker partners through a commission when a referred client request results in a confirmed booking. Clients using the standard referral service pay no platform fee directly to IONA JETS for submitting a request, reviewing proposals or selecting an offer. IONA JETS Business subscription fees are separate. Broker partners retain full pricing autonomy and independently set the price proposed for each flight request. IONA JETS does not set, control or guarantee the final price quoted by a broker. (2) Until you select a proposal or otherwise explicitly choose to share your details, flight requests are processed without disclosing your identity or contact information to broker partners. Once you take that action, your details are shared only with the relevant selected broker or recipient. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. (3) Cashback is available through the IONA JETS Loyalty Program only on eligible bookings and remains subject to the program terms, eligibility criteria, exclusions and payment conditions. Full details are available on the Loyalty Program page. *Cashback is available only on eligible bookings; see note (3). **Empty leg availability depends on aircraft positioning, route, date, remaining capacity and operator confirmation. Availability is not guaranteed and may change or be withdrawn at any time.
